The Culture and Career Club (CCC) was established in March of 2008 by a group of young professionals and students in New York City to address the needs and concerns in the evolving multi-cultural society.

Analyst Sr., SAP Business Applications

Under minimal supervision the Sr. Analyst will play a key role in developing and delivering innovative SAP based solutions. This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, customization and implementation of SAP-SD related initiatives. Additionally, position is responsible for identifying business process improvement opportunities leveraging technology and supporting organizational change. Role will also support internal customers/managers and other team members in implementing standard SAP based capabilities needed to deliver solutions to business problems.

Representative Duties:
  • Lead threads of projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
  • Assists others in the organization with SAP knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function
  • Adhere to and contribute to GIS processes, procedures and policies, as well as expanding internal GIS knowledge on the processes and SAP functionality
  • Maintain a current awareness of SAP product developments and trends and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity
  • Provide routine support to SAP users
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
  • Formal SAP training in SD
  • Minimum of 5 years experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional in enterprise systems implementation
  • 3+ years SD hands-on configuration experience (ECC 6.0 experience desired) and support of a live SAP production client
  • At least 1 full cycle SAP implementation project with hands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing SD and solutions
  • Experience with SAP-CRM desired
  • Experience with SAP-BW and/or SAP-HR a plus
  • Understanding of integration points of SD with MM/PP/FI and other modules
  • Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors including process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and blueprint definition.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong project management skills
  • Overtime if projects dictate
  • Ability to travel to locations within China and internationally
